Necromancy of Fish
Fall 2025
Interactive art project
This is an interactive Arduino-based sculpture that responds to the viewer’s heartbeat. By placing a finger on the sensor, the servo motors animate the fish in real time, creating a physical connection between human biology and a mechanical form. Inspired by the life cycle of salmon and ideas of ritual and animism, the project explores how interaction can make technology feel alive, intimate, and symbolic rather than purely functional.
